GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Eastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum will once again be filled with the sights, smells and flavors of figs when the Greenville Fig Festival returns Sept. 6.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the museum, located at 4570 County Home Road. Now in its third year, the festival has quickly grown into a local tradition, drawing about 400 visitors in 2024. Organizers say they are hoping to double attendance this year.

More than 30 vendors are scheduled to take part, offering everything from fig trees and preserves to handmade crafts, jewelry and baked goods. Food trucks will also be on site for lunch options.
