Gogglebox star 'shuts down company after £169,127 debt' in major career blow

Celebrity Gogglebox and I'm A Celebrity star Shaun Ryder has reportedly closed down his performing arts business.

The 63-year-old singer, who is known for the Happy Mondays, owned and operated William George Entertainment, named after his middle name, alongside his wife Joanne.

However, it's been reported by The Sun that the company has gone into liquidation, with £169,127 in debt.

Documents filed with Companies House earlier this month indicate that £129,367 is owed to HMRC, while the Royal Bank of Scotland is due £23,919, reports the Mirror . An additional £15,740 is reportedly owed in VAT and PAYE.
