Coach Brent Browner says the vacation can wait.

It’s all business for the Gaels of Bishop Gorman when they arrive today from Las Vegas. The nation’s No. 3-ranked team will have two days to acclimate to the humidity of Oahu before facing Kahuku.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, 7 p.m., at Carleton E. Weimer Field.

This is the Gaels’ first football trip to play Kahuku; the teams met in Nevada last year and in 2016. They have a very basic itinerary.

“Everything we do from getting in the airport, to the hotel, the kids understand it’s a business trip. It’s a beautiful vacation destination with a lot of culture, but we’re not going for a vacation,” Browner said. “That’s for after the season.”
