LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - We have another cool start to our day this Thursday, as our pleasant temperatures continue.
Record lows for this morning in history are at 50 degrees back in 1986 - and we are coming awfully close to breaking that record with Lexington starting in the low end of the 50s. Temps will jump quickly thanks to some sunshine. Our high will be in the upper 70s/ low end of the 80s in the late afternoon.
We have experienced consistent dry weather so far this week, and this trend is expected to continue into the weekend. There are only a few isolated chances for the holiday weekend.
Kentucky is sandwiched today between two systems - one moving just north of the state and the other moving just south of the state. There are isolated chances in the north-east portions of the s
