HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Boonville leaders will have an active day cutting ribbons for two city projects.
First, leaders will cut the ribbon for the city's $3.5 million park at City Lake Park.
It features a new splash pad along with sidewalks, more parking, a basketball court and playground equipment.
That event will get started at 1 p.m.
The city will then break ground on a new city pool. The $19 million project includes an Olympic sized pool, two water slides and more.
The construction site is just north of the old city pool. That event will get started at 2 p.m.
