WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Applications are open for arts grants in the North Country.

Alicia Murphy, SLC Arts Grants Manager, stopped by 7News this Morning to talk about the state-funded awards.

Who can apply: Individual artists, non-profits, municipalities, tribal nations in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties, as well as Akwesasne, who are looking to fund their concert series, theater, arts classes, and any other arts programming or projects.

Murphy says information sessions will be available through September and October and it is an easy online application.

The deadline to apply is Friday, November 14th.
