Local village remains under boil advisory until Friday

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- A boil advisory is in effect for some in Jamestown.

According to an alert posted via social media, portions of the village are under a 48 hour boil advisory. This includes residents on Southern Blvd. and Western Blvd.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will send out a notification as soon as it can be lifted," the village office said.

The advisory went into effect Wednesday afternoon around 5:30 p.m.
