NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Less-humid conditions are present with very few showers in southern areas to the high elevations. East-gap winds are even calmer this morning in eastern to central areas with some patchy fog in the Northeast Highlands.
Way-above-freezing temperatures are still once again confined to most of the higher peaks of the Northern Mountains with valley floor locations mostly starting off in the 40s or in the 50s. Elsewhere is mostly starting off in the upper 50s to the low 70s.
Westerly to northwesterly upper-level winds are forming with less moisture coming in from the Mountain West as a high pressure system continues to shift farther back to the west in Southwest New Mexico.
