Feed your kids
Whenever I see news about the number of children going to school hungry, it makes me angry.
It does not take a lot of money to feed a child. A bowl of cereal with milk and perhaps some fruit for breakfast, and a peanut butter and jam sandwich with some fruit for lunch does not cost a lot, when one takes the time to purchase these items.
When parents are getting a monthly child benefit of $662 a month for each child between the ages of six and 17, it is criminal that these parents do not feed their children.
I wonder if laziness is the reason these parents cannot be bothered to feed their children. I’m sure they manage to pay their own cellphone and perhaps buy cigarettes, and other non-necessities, but neglect to take responsibility for feeding their children.
Shame on
