LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A Florida man was arrested after driving a stolen vehicle in Limestone County.
Limestone County Deputies noticed a suspicious vehicle in the 28000 block of Upper Elkton Road on Tuesday.
While checking the Florida license plate, deputies learned that the vehicle had been reported as stolen out of Ocala, Florida.
Dispatch confirmed that the vehicle was stolen and deputies initiated a traffic stop.
LCSO identified the driver as Joseph Wiley Campanile, 44, of Morriston, Florida.
According to LCSO, drug paraphernalia was also found in Campanile's pocket while deputies were searching him.
The stolen vehicle was recovered, and arrangements are being made for the vehicle to be returned to its owner in Florida.
