NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — The first week of sports in high schools is over, and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has two pieces of good news.
Spokespeople say participation in sports is now at an all-time high.
They also say the number of people helping officiate games is also increasing.
As players, coaches and school leaders look ahead to fall and winter sports seasons, they say what they're counting on now is good behavior from fellow players, coaches, parents, and other fans.
