WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — A routine overnight traffic stop turned into a double arrest early Wednesday after two friends were separately taken into custody for driving while intoxicated on the same stretch of Route 138.
Around 1:40 a.m., Wall Township Patrolman Wheeler stopped a vehicle near Brinley Road and arrested the driver, 41-year-old Kristina M. Rosecrans of Wrightstown, for Driving While Intoxicated. While officers were processing the scene, a second vehicle pulled up — driven by 36-year-old Mackenzie E. Lamb of Allentown, who police say was there to assist her friend.
Instead, Lamb ended up joining her in custody.
According to Wall Township Police, Lamb appeared intoxicated and ignored officers’ instructions not to get back in her vehicle. She was arrested shortly after by Patrolman
