Due to Hurricane Erin damage to the fireworks launch site and equipment in Wildwood, Friday night fireworks have ended for the 2025 season, according to a statement from The Wildwoods .

The Wildwoods Friday Night Fireworks were scheduled for 10 p.m. every Friday from June 27 to Aug. 29, launching from the beach at Pine Avenue and visible across the Wildwoods Boardwalk .

City officials confirmed that structural damage that happened last week from the hurricane to the designated fireworks area on the boardwalk has made it impossible to continue the weekly summer tradition on Friday, Aug. 29.

The city credited the special improvement district, the event sponsors, and the fireworks team for their contributions to the seasonal attraction.
