A woman has been arrested following reports of a stabbing in Sittingbourne. Police were called to a multi-storey car park in East Street, just before 8pm on Wednesday, August 27.
Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a woman was treated for injuries 'consistent with stab wounds,' Kent Police said.
The victim, who is in her 40s, was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention and was subsequently discharged.
Later the same evening, a 60-year-old local woman was arrested in connection with the incident. An investigation is underway and police are appealing to witnesses to contact them.
