Williamson County-based nonprofit Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary has named former Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee leader Sandy Obodzinski its next president and executive director.

Obodzinski replaces Susan Duvenhage, who has served as executive director for more than eight years and announced earlier this year her intention to retire Sept. 30.
Obodzinski — who helped raise more than $26 million for five organizations over the past 18 years while overseeing revenue budgets ranging from $1.2 million to $5 million — arrives from Humanities Tennessee. There, she has served as the development and communications director since 2019.
