Legendary announcer Jim Ross has confirmed that he will be remaining with AEW. Speaking on his “Grilling JR” podcast, Ross revealed that he has signed a new one-year contract extension with the company and shot down recent rumors that he was negotiating a return to WWE.

Ross detailed the new agreement, explaining that he and AEW President Tony Khan finalized the deal during the company’s recent UK tour. His new contract will keep him with the promotion through next summer.
