A sixth person has been charged in a 2024 broad daylight Montgomery shooting that left a wife and mother paralyzed after she was caught in crossfire.

Chelsea Jackson, 21, of Prattville, is charged with count of first-degree assault and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, Montgomery County District Attorney Azzie Oliver announced Wednesday.

On April 12, 2024, Amy Dicks, then 43, was in her car along Atlanta Highway near the Eastdale Circle access when she was caught in the crossfire of multiple guns being fired.

The shooting left Dicks paralyzed from the chest down.

Charging documents against Jackson “recklessly fired weapons several times at another vehicle in the intersection.”

Jackson was arrested Tuesday night and released a short time later after posting
