The next time you see Brantford police officer, they could have a new look.
The Brantford Police Service is launching a pilot project in which several members of the service will be testing various uniform options over the coming months.
Community members may notice some officers wearing uniforms that differ slightly from the traditional BPS attire. The project aims to “explore potential updates that could enhance officer visibility, safety, and comfort, while continuing to ensure uniforms are functional for the wide range of duties officers perform,” said Robin Matthews-Osmond, BPS corporate communications manager .
