CK Cools, a first-year initiative of the Leadership Chatham-Kent program, provided relief to local low-income households during the extreme heat earlier this summer.
A key feature of the leadership program was the creation of legacy projects, which are community-focused initiatives designed and led by program participants to create lasting, positive change in Chatham-Kent, said a media release.
