(WJW) -- FOX 8's Wayne Dawson is sharing what he calls a "moment of transparency" as he awaits reconstructive surgery of his chin and teeth following a battle with oral cancer.
The long-time new anchor was declared cancer-free in May after a year of extensive treatment, which included radiation and chemotherapy.
In a video shared with FOX 8 News, Wayne said the Cleveland Clinic is in the process of scheduling his surgery, which requires the coordination of both a dentist and a plastic surgeon.
