The city issued a permit Aug. 27 for Mayo Clinic in Florida to build-out two floors between the patient tower high-rise and the Mayo building and hospital in South Jacksonville at a project cost of $18.97 million.

The Robins & Morton Group of Orlando is the contractor for the build-out of radiology, pharmacy and other health care support functions in 40,064 square feet of space on the second and third floors.

Perkins&Will of Atlanta is the contractor. Prosser Inc. of Jacksonville is the civil engineer.

Mayo continues to expand its 39-year-old Jacksonville campus at 4500 San Pablo Road S. at northwest Butler Boulevard and San Pablo Road.
