WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Watertown Police say a homeless man is accused of trying to steal an ebike.

Police say it happened around 9 p.m. on August 13.

According to police, Kshaun Murphy, 31, attempted to take the ebike from a residence at 142 E Main Street. The bike is valued at $1,725.

Murphy was arrested on August 27 at 722 W Main Street. He is charged with 4th-degree attempted grand larceny, a misdemeanor.

He was processed at the Public Safety Building and held pending arraignment.
