When talking about the running back room at Michigan, the media and fans alike tend to fawn over Justice Haynes and Jordan Marshall, and for good reason. However, the RB3 spot has turned into one of the more compelling storylines in fall camp.

True freshman Jasper Parker was not expected to be in the mix for carries this early in his career. After all, he did just enroll earlier this summer. However, by all accounts from the coaching staff Parker is squarely in the middle of the competition and just might win it.

During his time with the media on Wednesday, position coach Tony Alford heaped some praise for the first-year running back from Louisiana.
