SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Sioux Falls Police are investigating after a man reported being robbed by five subjects near 8th Street.
The call came in around 11:20 am on Wednesday, August 27.
The victim reported that he had been assaulted by 5 male subjects while walking around the area of 8th and Phillips.
He reported that the assault had happened 20 minutes before he called police, and that a suspect had used a knife to cut him above the eyebrow and had stolen his earbuds.
He described the suspect as a tall, Native American man with a blue hat, a sweater, and jeans.
Police are still working to confirm a suspect and determine details of the case.
No suspects or arrests at this point.
The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
