MINNEAPOLIS — The City of Minneapolis shared that another person who was injured in Wednesday's mass shooting at Annunciation Church has been identified, bringing the total to 18 wounded and 2 dead.

In a press release Thursday morning, city officials said 15 children between the ages of 6 and 15 were injured and are recovering from the hail of bullets. Two children - ages 8 and 10 - died in the shooting.

Three adults who were worshiping at Mass were also injured.

As a result of the mass shooting, Minneapolis police have increased patrols at Annunciation Church. The Minnesota State Patrol and Department of Natural Resources will assist the police by patrolling nearby schools and places of worship, according to the press release.
