WEST FARGO — Two people have been displaced after an apartment fire Thursday morning, Aug. 28, in West Fargo.
According to a release from the West Fargo Fire Department, crews responded at 9:50 a.m. to a call for a structure fire in the 1400 block of 16th Street East.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a "small fire" in an apartment, which they quickly extinguished, the release said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and a damage estimate was not immediately available.
Damage was contained to one unit, the occupants of which were not home, the release said. The two residents will be displaced, and nobody was injured during the fire.
The West Fargo Police Department, Fargo Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance assisted at the scene, the release said.
