MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Some roads in northeast Memphis will be closed for four weeks due to roadway improvements, according to the City of Memphis.

The project will begin on August 27 at 9:00 a.m. and will last for four weeks.

Northbound National Street at Bowen Avenue will be closed for road repairs.

According to the City of Memphis, drivers who use National Street travelling northbound between Powell Avenue and Tutwiler Avenue are being asked to use another route due to the closures. Bowen Avenue between National Street and North Highland Street will also be impacted. Southbound traffic on National Street will not be restricted.
