SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — Springfield Township police are investigating a burglary that occurred early Wednesday morning at a home in the 700 block of Eastview Drive. Investigators say the break-in took place between 4:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., while the homeowner was asleep.

The incident was discovered later in the morning when the resident awoke and noticed signs of forced entry. Surveillance footage captured the suspect during the burglary, though the individual’s face was obscured by a mask.

Springfield Township police have released images of the suspect from the surveillance video in hopes that someone may recognize the suspect’s clothing, build, or other distinguishing features.
