A Philadelphia man suspected in a Baltimore carjacking was arrested after crashing a stolen Jeep multiple times before finally running the vehicle into a stone wall along the Delaware River waterfront in Marcus Hook waterfront Tuesday night.

July Naim Qa Cartwright, 27, of the 4500 block of Knorr Street was arrested by borough police.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Marcus Hook Officer James Dalrymple:

The department received a report of an accident at Marshall Avenue and Green Street about 9:20 p.m. involving a single vehicle.

Officer Ginger Dunbar arrived to find a red Jeep that had hit a hydrant and seconds later called out on police radio that the vehicle involved was “taking off” south on Green Street.
