NEW ORLEANS (WAFB) - FBI Denver is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Matthew LaDaniel Johnson, a fugitive wanted for a 2023 double homicide in Denver who has ties to Louisiana.

Around 1:30 a.m. on December 30, 2023, Denver Police officers responded to a shooting at The Viking bar on West Colfax Avenue. Four people were shot, including Brandon Houston, 41, and Jason Lewis, 38, who died from their injuries.

Witnesses told police an argument broke out before Johnson allegedly pulled a handgun and opened fire. Two others were injured but survived.

Johnson, 55, is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

The FBI says Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as being 5′11″,
