The South Carolina State Museum (SCSM) has announced that it will present Artist Homecoming 2025: Vault to Vision , a two-day gathering on Sept. 25 and Sept. 26, celebrating South Carolina’s visual arts community and the highly anticipated reopening of the Lipscomb Art Gallery.

“ Artist Homecoming 2025: Vault to Vision is more than an event, it’s a reunion for South Carolina’s arts community and a celebration of visual culture and artists from across the state,” said SCSM Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs Paul Matheny. “With this program and the reopening of the Lipscomb Art Gallery, we are welcoming guests to a newly revitalized space and inviting the community to celebrate the people and stories that make South Carolina’s art scene so vibrant and inspiring.”
