Connor Heyward sat at his locker making small talk with Juan Thornhill, shooting the breeze before the Steelers took their four-day break ahead of Week 1. But not long before thatm he was fuming, venting frustration to anyone in earshot.

Heyward has made the team for the fourth year in a row, so he should be celebrating. Ironically, that achievement only exacerbated his ongoing annoyance with the narrative that he’s only a Steeler, only a pro football player, because of his older brother Cam.
