It didn’t take long for former Michigan offensive lineman Ryan Hayes to find a new NFL home after getting cut from the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday.

The Atlanta Falcons signed the 2023 seventh-round pick to their practice squad on Thursday. Hayes’ could have a more favorable path to cracking Atlanta’s 53-man active roster given its recent injuries at the position. Starting right tackle Kaleb McGary was placed on season-ending injured reserve, while backup Storm Norton will miss at least the first four games of the regular season.
