Kellen Moore explains why Taysom Hill sits primarily in quarterback meetings amid injury

Throughout the offseason for the New Orleans Saints, there have been numerous mentions of Taysom Hill participating in meetings with the quarterbacks.

That’s not necessarily out of the ordinary considering how the do-it-all Hill floated from room to room under previous coaching staffs. But coach Kellen Moore decides where he wants Hill to be, even as the 35-year-old recovers from a serious knee injury.

So does Moore see Hill primarily as a quarterback?

Not exactly.

“Taysom is obviously 1 of 1 in this league,” Moore said. “He plays a lot of positions, and he spends most of time in the quarterback room just because the quarterback room is the room that talks about all aspects of football. That’s where he’s spent most of his career in, and so he just plays a lot of different roles and d
