PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — Utah County is set to begin a $7 million reconstruction project at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon next week, on Sept. 7. The county says the project will enhance safety and improve public access.

A press release from Utah County says that during construction, access to the falls and parking in the area will be modified. Signs will be posted to help visitors locate detours and closures in the area.

Utah County is planning on improving the area with a new grass park, pavilion and picnic area across from the falls. They are also planning to rebuild the pedestrian trail, catch basin, spillway, and splash area.
