RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Recycle artist Thomas Dambo is bringing his largest North American installation of troll sculptures to North Carolina, officials said Thursday.

According to the Dix Park Conservancy, five of the giant wooden sculptures will be in Dix Park in Raleigh.

"This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity," Dix Park Conservancy President Ruffin Hall said in a statement. "It brings worldwide attention to Raleigh while creating a deeply local experience at Dix Park. The conservancy is proud to support the city in transforming the park through public art that invites connection, curiosity, and care for the community."

The Dix Park Conservancy said the five sculptures will soon be hiding in plain sight. Their exact locations will not be revealed until their unveiling.
