FORT MONTGOMERY, N.Y. (WNCN) – A former Raleigh high school football standout and current Army player sprang to action over the weekend to rescue a man from a burning car.
Larry Pickett Jr. and his family were on the way back from dinner in Times Square when they noticed a car that smashed into a utility pole early Sunday morning in Fort Montgomery, New York, according to a report from CBS Sports. The crash occurred slightly after midnight, about five miles south of the Army’s West Point campus.
