NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) - Mark your calendars, because we’re just weeks away from a special tribute to a beloved Tri-State meteorologist.
Newburgh Museum’s “Tribute to the Yock” is a speaking series event honoring local legend and former 14 News weatherwoman Marcia Yockey.
Organizers say you’ll get to hear from several familiar faces at the event, including Mike Blake, David James and Jeff Lyons.
The tribute will also include artifacts, photos and videos.
Door prizes, snacks and refreshments will also be on hand.
Although the event is free, you can guarantee your seat for $10 on the Newburgh Museum website .
“Tribute to the Yock” kicks off at 1 p.m. on September 28 at Preservation Hall in Newburgh.
