A Midtown commercial building recognized for its eye-catching exterior art has sold for $1.6 million, with the seller seemingly having almost tripled his 2022 investment in the property with the transaction.
Sitting on 0.06 acres and with an address of 208 17th Ave. N. , the structure houses Marley’s Smoke Shop. That business offers vapes, hookahs, e-cigarettes, e-liquid starter kits, e-juice and pipes, according to its website.
The seller, via Badass Properties LLC, was veteran real estate investor Ched Cooke, according to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document.
Metro records note Cooke paid $610,000 for the property in April 2022.
A long-time Nashvillian, Cooke has undertaken deals in Midtown previously, having paid $2.8 million in 2024 for the 1722 West End Ave. commercial
