ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A homecoming filled with pride and purpose.

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown returned to his roots Wednesday, visiting his alma mater Lilburn Middle School. Brown opened up to students about his journey to the NBA. He said he had doubts along the way, but stayed committed to fulfilling his dreams.

Brown was given the title of Mr. Georgia Basketball in 2015. He was drafted by the Celtics a year later.

He won an NBA title with the Celtics in 2024 and signed what was at the time the largest contract in NBA history in 2023.
