Beloved landmark Westport general store and cafe has a new owner

Head Town Landing Country Store in Westport is officially changing hands this week.

Longtime owners Rory and Kathy Couturier are passing the torch to new owner Andrea Biszko.

The owners said the store isn't going anywhere and that the fan-favorite treats there will remain.

WESTPORT — A new era for one beloved SouthCoast general store is ready to get rolling near the Westport River.

Head Town Landing Country Store is officially changing hands this week, marking “the start of an exciting new chapter for the store and our community,” according to longtime owners Rory and Kathy Couturier.
