ST. ROBERT, Mo. (KY3) - A driver faces several charges after crashing into a house during a pursuit in St. Robert.

Prosecutors charged Shawheli Meadows with aggravated fleeing a stop or detention, property damage, and DWI.

Investigators say the crash happened on Sunday. They say an officer caught him speeding. The pursuit wound through a neighborhood. Officers say that’s when Meadows lost control and crashed into the house.

A family of four was asleep at the time of the crash.

Investigators say his blood alcohol content was .200 at 1:06 a.m. and .167% at 2:42 a.m.
