FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A Johnson County man was arrested after he was accused of committing burglary at the site of a former restaurant.
Jeremy Lee Perry, 42, of Wittensville, was taken into custody on Aug. 22, after Prestonsburg Police were called to the old Jerry’s building in Prestonsburg regarding a suspicious vehicle complaint.
After police got to the scene, they found Perry, who told police that he was at the site because he had a flat tire. He also stated that he had not been inside the building.
Police later went inside the building to investigate. During their investigation, they said they found a drill, a grinder, a pry bar and screw drivers. The grinder was marked with the initials “JP,” according to police. Officers noticed several other power tools inside Perry’s vehicl
