KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There's a new potato on the block!

Rock hyrax mom, Idaho, and dad, Perseus, became parents on July 28 to a healthy baby boy called Cappy, the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium announced on Facebook.

The zoo said Cappy's name is inspired by the species' scientific name of Procavia capensis.

This is Idaho's third time giving birth, and the zoo's care specialists said she is a wonderful mom.
