Kai Janzen is certain there’s well more than 50, maybe even close to 100.
The 19-year-old Eden High School graduate knows this because since the beginning of spring he’s been getting an up-close look at the various neighbourhood book depots on a journey to run on every city street.
On April 1, Janzen embarked on the ambitious personal challenge. Tallying it up using Google Maps’ distance-measuring tool, Janzen figures that works out to just less than 700 kilometres of pavement.
