SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- It starts with a simple text box. You type in your feelings, and an AI is always available to reply. For many, that kind of immediate support can feel like a lifeline. Youper, Tess, and Wysa are websites and apps that claim to offer help. For instance, Wysa provides exercises for anxiety, grief, and sleep. And while this might be helpful, professionals are wary.
"If that is something that can help them, maybe get out some of the things they are feeling and thinking initially, that might be helpful, said the HelpLine Center's 988 Director Scott Wilson.
