COLUMBIA, Mo. – After months of spring training and preparations, the University of Central Arkansas Bears kickoff their 2025 football season Thursday night with a tough matchup against the Missouri Tigers.
The game, televised nationally on the SEC Network, will kick off the game at 6:30 p.m. and marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Bears head coach Nathan Brown said that though the team’s first game of the season presents a daunting challenge, victory isn’t impossible.
“You want to make it a four-quarter game, and if you make it a four-quarter game, then anything can happen,” Brown said. “Our guys are preparing to win the game. We know that, again, we're going to have to play really clean, almost flawless football to do it, but look, crazier things have happened."
