WHITEHALL – The Ludington and Manistee varsity golf teams made the trip to the White Lake Golf Club on Wednesday for the Whitehall Invitational.
The Orioles finished in sixth place with a 436 overall score while Manistee ended the day in ninth place, posting a 466 overall score.
“We’re still early in the season, but we’re seeing some solid improvement from all the girls,” Ludington head coach Erica Reed said.
“We have a young team, and it’s exciting to see them gain confidence as they play more tournaments.”
Big Rapids won the event with a 386 while Sparta took second place with a 379. Forest Hills Northern (389), Whitehall (395) and Chippewa Hills (412) rounded out the top five.
