HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A man suffered minor injuries when a vehicle fleeing from multiple Horry County law enforcement agencies crashed into him, a law enforcement source said.

The man accused of leading the chase, Christopher Coleman, will be booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, the source said. The pursuit started in Surfside Beach and ended near the Myrtle Beach International Airport when Coleman crashed and was taken into custody.

The pursuit was turned over to Horry County police at Farrow Parkway. According to authorities, Coleman is expected to be charged with failure to stop for a blue light and other traffic offenses.
