BARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - A burn ban has been placed on Barren County.

It was issued by Judge/Executive Jamie Byrd due to recent dry weather in the area.

The ban will be lifted when conditions have abated. Campfires that are contained to a fire pit within an established campground are exempt from this order.
